  1. I have to agree with you. The secret to making any holiday trip (the destination doesn’t matter) work is advanced planning and managed expectations. My first trip to Gold Coast didn’t go so well because it was a spur of the moment, meaning I had no reservations. Still, I would recommend this place for its good food and awesome nightlife.

  2. LAME! Who goes to the spa on a holiday trip? It’s a waste of money, not to mention a waste of quality time that can be spent on other activities like surfing. You can go to the local spa for a weekend.
